A Travel Through The Art World

in Photography Lovers2 days ago

After a market analysis, it's time to relax by looking at various art pieces, so let's see which one is your favorite today as I have a lot to show you. There are various reasons why people like mixed exhibitions, I have my reasons too, but at the end of the day, it matters what you remain with, after the exhibition. Some people tend to forget it all and fast too, especially those pieces that don't seem interesting for them. This is how the human mind works.

Travel trhough art.jpg

I'm fortunate in this regard as I have a good visual memory and posting about the exhibition also helps a lot and enjoy it too, so let's get to it.

József Miholcsa - The King (left) - Mourning (right)

These two wooden sculptures look plain and simple, but they are not. Obviously this is my opinion, you may see it otherwise, which is fine. I was looking at the King for example. look at how the artist highlighted the body and the face of the king, making the wood darker and left the two arms and the bat he's holding, lighter. Also, look at the face. It's not the usual face you see on sculptures and that's why I like it more.

Mourning is also really good. Look at the expression on the face of the old lady. There's an inscription with old Hungarian writing on the bottom of both sculptures. I was wondering how much these two costs.

István Makkai - Parcel

This was a really weird one. I mean I can see the parcel and the "grass" on the parcel, but most likely it would have never crossed my mind to create such an artwork nor have I ever seen a similar one, but art is about creating something unique, not copying others, right?

Zsigmond Bálint - Winter Dream (top) - Autumn Is Coming (bottom)

Two lovely photos, capturing nature during two different seasons. I'd pick the top one, the winter scene as the outside temperature is 32°C. The other reason is, we rarely get snow and as I see there's plenty there. I love the blue tone of the photo. Most likely both are drone photos and I was wondering if drones will take over soon.

Mana Bucur - Guardian

20250522_112602a.JPG

I had to take a photo of this ceramic work from a different angle for you to see what it is like. I don't know what to say about it, other than I don't think I've seen many ceramic works like this. Not just the design, but the material used too.

László Vincze - Gift

This is a really interesting one. You see a person (honestly, I can't decide if it's a woman or man) with a gift box in their hand and the title is indeed the gift, but that's definitely the highlight of the painting. The face is in my opinion and should be in yours too as that face is not a usual one. I can't decide if those lines want to wrinkles or not, but it's unique for sure.

István Makkai - Golden-haired Belly Button Watcher

No disrespect here, but I don't like this at all. The style is similar to the other artwork I posted from István Makkai, but it's not for me, so let's move on.

Levente Kiss - Circle In The Sphere

This was a really interesting concept and unique too. Too bad it was placed in front of the window, with the curtain positioned like this. I hope you can see how great it is, if you make an effort.

Árpád Kolumbán - Shoutout

20250522_112729a.JPG

Not my favorite, so let's move on.

20250522_112741(0)a.JPG

Zsolt Fekete - Jesus's heart Chapel, Odorheiu Secuiesc

I love what the artist did here. There are basically two photos and a drawing, of the same chapel. The drawing was made in 1864 by Balázs Orbán, the two photos were taken in 1998 and 2000, by the artist and his father. I've never seen anything like this, but it's a lovely idea. It shows the passed time.

Géza Kovács Sz. - April's Unfolding

I love the colors here, the vibes of this painting. At first I thought it's autumn, due to the colors as that's the season, when you see this variety, but was wrong.

The artworks you see here are all from the same exhibition and doing these posts made me realize I love mixed art. I enjoy it more than thematic exhibitions.

Let's se if you like it too. You have a great variety of art here.

All the artwork looks absolutely beautiful.

Almost all in my opinion, but yes, in general all of them.

Wow those art look beautiful and cool. I love them all thanks for sharing.

Pleasure to be able to share them.

I love how you analyze the artworks you fancy. I like the artwork of nature in two different seasons. The winter artwork is beautiful.

!PIMP

I wouldn't say analyze, more like I say what I think and/or see. The funny thing is, if I'd sit down with the artists and share my thoughts about what I see and how I see it, most likely they would say that's total bullsh*t 😆

most likely they would say that's total bullsh*t 😆

They will be like, actually that’s a way to look at it but nahh. How did you even think of that?

😆😆😆

Ceramic thing with a muzzle - I fell in love with it. I don't know what it's for or what its purpose is - but it's gorgeous. :)

Wow, this is a surprise, but a good one. I'm glad you picked that one as it's not a usual one.

April's Unfolding is my favorite one for sure! Great painting and colors, showing the nature blooming in spring (thats in April), flowers, trees flowering, there's everything!

I don't like the same you don't, shout out is kinda creepy, the haired belly button is meh for me

All the pieces looks strange but beauty too.. thankyou for always sharing the amazing Art gallery all over the world with us...

The pleasure is all mine. I'm glad you like it.

I love these exhibitions with such varied art! This time, my favourites are the first one, because working with wood is not easy at all and I love it, and then the sphere, which, even though the window is like that, is wonderful! Thank you very much!

Yes, I agree, wood is different and unfortunately you don't see a lot of wood art these days. The sphere was a real beauty.

The smell of carved wood... the beautiful things that can be made... I love it!

Once I wanted to work with wood ans till have this dream, but not wooden sculpture, more like recycling furniture. It's a bit of a bog project and I know I would not do it long term, but would like to try it out

One of my friends restores furniture, in her own style of course, and it looks beautiful. Wood is a very noble material; it gives warmth. I hope to soon find a work of art that features wood.
