π 4th Gratitude Comment gets 70 Ecency points

But why gratitude?
Because gratitude is great for you. Being grateful can yield all sorts of benefits including:
- More restful sleep
- Better focus
- More patience
- Improved self-esteem
- More positive moods
- Stronger relationships
- (And many more)
And that's just from a scientific perspective. If you look at it in terms of the energy you put into the world and what you'd like to have returned to you, gratitude can encourage more good things to come your way. You don't have to believe it just because I (or anybody else) said so. Try it yourself with Graturday π. Here's how:
The Rules
- Leave a comment on this post about something you feel grateful for.
- Comments can be any length as long as they clearly convey what you feel grateful for.
- You can't pick everything or everyone, so narrow it down to something or someone specific.
- You can't give the same comment more than once in a month if you want your entry to be eligible for prizes. (But if you want to mention something multiple times per month alongside new things you feel grateful for, that's fine too.)
- You don't have to upvote or repost to enter, but if you do, just know that you have my gratitude for that.
- You have until next week's Graturday post goes up to enter for this week β³.
What am I grateful for this week?
I think I have an idea for another microfiction series. It all started yesterday when I finally got around to reading Hans Christian Andersen's βThe Little Mermaidβ. Basically, once I wrapped my head around the story he intended for children, I realised I've probably been editing myself way too heavily for adults. So, decent chance that the next series will have way more of the stuff I generally leave out. Who knows?
Okay, now it's your turn! Please join in and let me know in the comments what you felt grateful for this past week.
Have a Great Graturday!
