Today I will share another 500 Rupiah Coin for you. And this one is the newest release of the 500 coin that is in circulation here in my country. How much buying power it has? I must say not much, as I need a few of them to pay for my parking fee in some of the place in my island. That is for bike, and for car I think we need at least 6 of them to pay for the early hours of the parking time.
You can compare the older one which I had posted here before, and if you wish to check on it, you can see the post here.
Below you can see the reverse side of the coin, they have the National Bank engrave, and the value of the coin as well as the mintage year.
I put it above the hive logo, which give a nice touch to the coin. :) nice contast of the shiny color of the coin, and the darker background.
Here I tried to put it upright.
And then on the Observe we have the National Hero, the Lieutenant General of my Arm Forces. His name is also being use as the name of some of the main road in the capital city. Which again show how much he is respected. Although I need to learn more about him.
Here I try to put the coin upright, with the Hive pen in the background.
Here I have mroe info about the coin from numista
