Time flies and another Hive Power-Up Day (HPUD) is here already. I powered up—did you? Let's look at my power-up and some thoughts on this day.
Quick recap for the new people: HPUD is when we all power-up some hive. Pretty simple, eh? Of course we can power up on any day of the month, but doing so on HPUD all together just adds to the fun.
Hive Power Up Day uses UTC time, so it started about 30 minutes ago as of this posting. Check what these times are in your local time zone using my favorite time zone conversion site; you can also go to the Hivebuzz page, login, and they will show you a countdown clock.
If you have at least 10 Hive that you can power-up and are under level 70, you might win some prizes!
I powered-up 100.
Less that I'd like, but... well, I seem to say that no matter how much I power up.
But let's look at how I did last month. I powered-up 400 last month on the first and then increased my HP by 1199.100 over the month. That's pretty good! I'm sure it's only a fraction of what the bigger accounts made, but I'm happy with it.
So after today's power-up, that leaves me with 24,197.050 HP, which is a bit from my goal of 35k for the year, but progress is being made.
If you miss out don't worry, there will be another next month. But that next month will be here before you know it. I suggest following @hivebuzz and/or @traciyork so you will be reminded a few days before the next one.
