Squirrel on a Log

One of many cool things to discover out on the hiking trail, a Squirrel on a log. He was pretty close, so I was able to pop off a couple of quick pics before he disappeared. I got about three pics, with only one being good enough to post. Afterwords, the trail continued to a small lake, nothing much special about the lake, but the journey there was what made it special, with all the colourful fall leaves here and there. That squirrel shot is fantastic! 🐿️ It's always a challenge to capture wildlife in motion, so getting even one great shot is an achievement. The fall season really does make hikes extra special—the colorful leaves, the crisp air, and the peaceful atmosphere. Sounds like a perfect day on the trail! 🍂🍁

Also, I love both color and black & white photography—each has its own charm and mood.

I loved the squirrel shot! They are such funny animals! I like the trees and sky shot as well, especially the monochrome, such nice details. Better to find a squirrel than a bear!

This is so relatable, we also found a squirrel somewhere in Canada, and we just managed to get a good video of how he ate. Well, l hope you had a great time eh.
