How wonderful it would be if we could be certain. To get out of our bubble of faith in digital currencies, and go out into the world spreading the good news of hope. A free world, without banks controlled by dubious institutions, managing nebulous contracts and speculating on our assets.

A world where only digital currencies would be used to move the different economies. Multiple countries would have multiple currencies, with reserves in various reference currencies of other nations.

In this world, there would be no time limit for transactions. Weekend speculations would not have to wait until Monday to have an effect on countries' exchange rates. The instant effect of controlled chaos! The taste of poison being felt in the mouth while the bite is still being applied!

What a beautiful world without brokerage fees!

Would it really be possible to remove intermediaries and for each citizen to assume total, complete, absolute financial control?

And what about transparency?

Why not take the banner of total transparency of transactions, recorded in blockchain, for public and eternal consultation by anyone. This is a cause for concern on the part of the traditional population, oblivious to the crypto world. It is strange to think that your neighbor can look inside your wallet.

At the same time, there is no more room for tax evasion. Social control is effectively applied, and non-governmental organizations can organize themselves to monitor public accounts, or even suspicious accounts.

And what about government investments?

It is impossible to divert resources! They would be registered and completely traceable! Imagine the state transferring resources directly from a government portfolio to another government entity, referencing the bidding processes and writing everything down in the transaction notebook.

This would be such an important advance that it is impossible to believe that congressmen would be in favor! Because it would decree the end of political spoils from obtaining resources for their electoral communities.

And transaction costs?

I think that everything should be changed here. Transaction costs should be paid because the infrastructure could not be governmental, so services need to be paid for. Each transaction would be taxed according to parameters defined by the global community. Minimal and irrelevant costs, but not zero!

Global standard

Of course, an initiative of this type could only be conceived on a global scale, with defined standards like so many other things related to IT, data security, etc. But only a global standard is acceptable for such a revolutionary project, nothing less than that.

And what about the nations that reject the global pact for the digitalization of currencies?

They would be massacred by oblivion!

The dynamics of smart contracts in digital markets would swallow up the small traditional markets that refused to participate, and they would go bankrupt over time.

Conclusion

Of course, a dream needs time and hard work to become reality, and it will be no different with the world of cryptocurrencies. It will take time and will require a great deal of persuasion to clarify its points and advantages over the traditional market.

The first thing that could be done is a comparative campaign showing the advantages of the crypto market over the traditional stock exchange. A very interesting start that shows in practice the limitations of the current model.

Another issue is to demystify the idea that cryptocurrencies are fraud or scams. This is very widespread here in Brazil, and I believe it is part of the hidden campaign of traditional institutions to avoid their decline.

Nesse mundo não haveria horário limite para transações. As especulações de final de semana não teriam que esperar até segunda-feira para surtir efeitos nos câmbios dos países. O efeito instantâneo do caos controlado! O sabor do veneno sendo sentido na boca enquanto a mordida ainda é aplicada!

Que lindo mundo sem taxas de corretagem!

Seria mesmo possível remover os intermediários e cada cidadão assumir o controle financeiro total, integral, absoluto?

E a transparência?

Por que não levar a bandeira da transparência total das transações, registradas em blockchain, para consulta pública e eterna por qualquer um. Isso é motivo de receio por parte da população tradicional, alheia ao mundo cripto. No mínimo é estranho pensar que seu vizinho possa olhar dentro da sua carteira.

Ao mesmo tempo, não há mais espaço para sonegações. O controle social é aplicado de fato, e organizações não governamentais podem se organizar para monitorar contas públicas, ou mesmo contas suspeitas.

E os investimentos dos governos?

Impossível desviar recursos! Ficariam registrados e totalmente rastreáveis! Imagine o estado fazendo transferência de recursos de forma direta de uma carteira governamental para outro ente governamental, referenciando os processos licitatórios e anotando tudo no bloco da transação.

Isso seria um avanço tão importante que é impossível acreditar que os congressistas seriam favoráveis! Pois seria decretado o fim dos espólios políticos da obtenção de recursos para suas comunidades eleitorais.

E os custos de transação?

Aqui eu acho que tudo deveria ser mudado. Deveriam ser pagos custos de transação pois a infraestrutura não poderia ser governamental, logo é preciso custear os serviços. Cada transação seria taxada de acordo com parâmetros definidos pela comunidade global. Custos mínimos e irrelevantes, porém não zero!

Padrão global

É claro que uma iniciativa desse tipo só poderia ser pensada em escala global, com padrões definidos tal qual tantas outras coisas relacionadas à informática, segurança de dados, e etc. Mas somente o padrão global é aceitável para um projeto tão revolucionário, nada menos do que isso.

E as nações que rejeitarem o pacto global pela digitalização das moedas?
Seriam massacradas pelo esquecimento!

A dinâmica dos contratos inteligentes dos mercados digitais iriam engolir os pequenos mercados tradicionais que se recusassem a participar, e eles iriam falir com o tempo.

Conclusão

É claro que um sonho precisa de tempo e trabalho duro para se tornar realidade, e não será diferente com o mundo das criptomoedas. Vai demorar tempo e exigirá uma força de convencimento muito grande para esclarecer seus pontos e vantagens frente ao mercado tradicional.

A primeira coisa que poderia ser feita é uma campanha comparativa mostrando as vantagens do mercado cripto frente à bolsa de valores tradicional. Um começo bem interessante e que mostra na prática as limitações do modelo atual.

Outra questão é desmistificar que criptomoedas são fraudes ou golpes. Isso é muito difundido aqui no Brasil, e acredito ser parte da campanha oculta das instituições tradicionais para evitar sua decadência.
