Now, after reading what I wrote above, you may think this is just another tantrum to get some attention and play the victim, as so many are doing it here on a daily bases, but trust me, it's not.

Not at all do I think you are playing victim. Sometimes we need to vent out stupidity of others. You showed a lot of patience dealing with this incompetent individual. I don't think I would have been so nice. Like you said it's not rocket science and I can't help to think why she didn't just complete a very simple task. Even if she was new is no excuse.

Oh yes automation is very much happening whether we like it or not. Maybe one day we will be happy with its service. Time will tell and hope it helps more than it hurts.

        I had to swallow my anger or frustration, because this shop is close to where I live and have to come here every week, so I didn't want to cause a scene this time, but otherwise, in another shop, I may have not been so nice.

        Oh yes automation is very much happening whether we like it or not. Maybe one day we will be happy with its service. Time will tell and hope it helps more than it hurts.

        Trust me, cases like this makes me appreciate packaged food and automated services. if I do something stupid while scanning the codes, I have myself to blame and not get angry at some incompetent people.

              Your right automation is welcome when we run into situations like you mentioned. I think we all have run into something similar to what you have. The last time for me was when I was at a restaurant. I asked for ice water and than the waitres asked if I wanted ice in it. I just simply laughed and said yes instead of challenging her intelligence 😆 I couldn't be mean or say something like an insult because I hadn't got my food yet, right?

                    😆🤣 Looks like we all get our fair share. Imagine taping these events and putting together a full movie. I think it would be a fun thing to do. But jokes aside, I don't know where these people put their brain.
