I had to swallow my anger or frustration, because this shop is close to where I live and have to come here every week, so I didn't want to cause a scene this time, but otherwise, in another shop, I may have not been so nice.

Oh yes automation is very much happening whether we like it or not. Maybe one day we will be happy with its service. Time will tell and hope it helps more than it hurts.

Trust me, cases like this makes me appreciate packaged food and automated services. if I do something stupid while scanning the codes, I have myself to blame and not get angry at some incompetent people.
