Praying alone will not be enough to lead us to the fulfilment which we are anticipating. We need other ingredients to make our prayers effective. We should possess the necessary criteria if we wish that our prayers must be answered by God.
There are ways that we should pray if we want God to hear us. Our prayers should be from a clean heart. The Bible says that God does not listen to a sinner. We should pray with hearts that are free from offenses. We should not be hypocritical about our prayers. We should pray with plainess when we are talking to God.
Most importantly, we should pray by faith. Without faith it will be impossible to obtain what we are expecting from God. Those who come to God must come with a heart that believes totally that God will give him what he is asking for. A heart who doubts will not be able to receive anything from God.
