Hey everyone ! Today I will share you about the houseboat. Well it is a different thing and I have experienced it first time. I have found some of photo in my gallery so I think to share about this houseboat with you people. I have experienced first time a few month later when I was in KASHMIR. Me and my family had a package and it was included in it. We stayed 1 day and 1 night over there. Now let me show you how it was started.
Basically what is HOUSE BOAT it is made with the woods and a proper house in the ship and that ship is been standing above the water and get locked with the corner to a particular point of the land. And you have to take care about the boat that it should not be over weight or anything else which hurt the boat and it can sink. In a simple language it is proper made like a home in the boat with all the regular stuff and basic need which is compulsory for home. So this what means of boat house and I was also experiencing first time.
Our boat was on the other side of the river so we need to cross the river with the help of boat. Firstly we reached over there and meet the owner of the boathouse talk with him and show about our package and all the stuff. Then we sit carry all our luggage on the boat. The boat was very beautiful long and thick. The boat was made with the wood and painted with the colors. We have carried our load to the boat with the limit and according to weight. The boat was divided into half one half is to keep the luggage and the other side where people can sit and in between the person who drive the boat he will sit. It was very risky if the luggage will be more than there is lot of chance that boat get off to opposite side.
So we were 20 people and we reached there by sitting 7-8 people at each boat and with in 3 boats we reached to the other side where the boats were standing.
While we were on the way to cross the river we see lot of small fish in the river and there were many flowers floating around our boat and the nature over there was very cool and it was about evening by 5:00 P.M. and where the sun was getting down there was lot of fog around we can't see properly at the long distance. I have made some video I have share here you can see about the nature water and all the things.
And slowly- slowly we have reached to the so called "HOUSE BOAT", and there we pick up our all the stuff / luggage from the boat and now the boat owner was giving us the boat. There were many boats over there and people were living inside the boat. And now we were not allowed to be on a single boat together because there is chance of sinking. So why to take risk. If you want to meet with each other then you can meet outside of the boat on the land surface. Or you can meet with each other from one boat to another boat through gallery.
And as we sit over there and relaxing ourselves than we went outside of the boat and we meet our new friend a "BIRD" the bird was very different I have never seen this type of bird ever. His body was different I have tried my best to take photo. As I have share you can see the bird. And they he fly away in the air. Then we were clicking the photo of scenario / nature. I tried to click the photo of sun by zooming the camera. And then we went outside the area of houseboat on the road where we see that the other people were playing cricket and enjoying their day. The nature was really too good. I miss that nature and the time I have spent in the KASHMIR. After the sunset we went again inside the boat. We were unknown to the place so we did not went to far and long from the boat.
Then at the time we reached our dinner was ready. And the dinner was setup as in ancient time. Where all the people sit together and have their food without any distraction their was no connection of internet or television. And it was really feeling like old time period. But it was good experience. And the waiter was bring the food for us from the backside where kitchen was made. The food was very delicious. After eating our dinner we spent some time with our family and then we were tired and we need to get wake-up again in the early morning. So we need to sleep.
And then in the early morning we wake-up again by 7:00 A.M. in the morning. After getting the shower and brush we went outside the boat. And we found a "EAGEL " sitting on the rooftop of the house. I have clicked the photo on the correct time but the picture was not perfect. As you can see how beautiful it was looking.
After having our breakfast and clicking all the photo it was time to get off again from the houseboat and let's go again on the other part of Kashmir. So in the early morning we put our stuff/luggage on the boat same as like we came. But when we were going we found many other boats where only single person was sitting and he was doing business selling the natural product like KESAR, SHILAJIT and many more other stuff. But we don't want anything so we continue our journey again to the exit point. And then we reached again to the other opposite side of the HOUSEBOAT.
So this was all about the HOUSEBOAT how we enjoyed and meet a new birds and nature over there and get a first time experience on the Houseboat we like it. We enjoyed a lot sitting on the boat and sleeping on the river. Yeah it was like we have used our money more than we have given.
If you like the House boat you should also experience this you will enjoy a lot and miss that time. Your mind will crave again to go their and stay one more night. The fresh air and the low sound of water waves, it was excellent,
