I can't imagine how happy your boss's mother must be because you had a "manianita" for her. I once participated in a "manianita", and the birthday celebrant cried tears of joy. What I loved most was the food; "manianitas" usually have snacks, followed by the celebration, just like the one in your blog. I miss those kinds of celebrations. Anyway, happy birthday to your boss's mother!

        It was my very first time to experience that manianita in my whole life and I'm thankful that I experience that kind of scenario for a birthday. The food is really awesome, too. They are full of flavors and tasty. We, the employees, are thankful for our boss' kindness.
