Good evening, my friends. I hope you are all healthy and happy, so you can carry out your activities as usual, and that you all have a pleasant day.

This time, I want to share some pictures in this daily blog. A few days ago, I had the opportunity to attend the Preh Dara Baroe event, which is an Acehnese tradition to welcome the bride to the groom's house after the wedding ceremony.

As I mentioned above, a few days ago I visited one of Aceh's traditions and customs, Preh Dara Baroe. There, I took some photos to share with this daily blog community.

This tradition involves traditional ceremonies such as the presentation of dishes, greetings from traditional figures, dancing, and Peusijuk (a traditional ceremony) as a symbol of acceptance and blessing from the extended family, marking the beginning of their new life together. These are some of the images I took, showing the abundance of food for the bride's entourage compared to the groom's.

My friend, the welcoming of the new linto, or the groom, is accompanied by music and certain customs. Afterward, the bride and groom and their families eat together as a symbol of harmony. These are some of the images I took, showing the food before the meal.

The meaning of this custom is to strengthen ties, bringing together and uniting the two extended families of both the groom and the bride. Furthermore, this custom also allows people in my area, especially those in rural areas, to gather and witness the happiness of two people falling in love in this tradition, which is held together on one day like a queen and king.

And here are some pictures I took of the groom's extended family welcoming the arrival of local guests. In these pictures, you can glimpse the meaning of this relationship, which allows us to meet and gather together at one of these events.

The bridesmaids' duties are limited to the welcoming gate, after which the groom's family will take over the bride, and then proceed with the rituals of the pesijuk (grooming ceremony) and the communal meal, as I mentioned above.

My friend, after seeing off the bride, I took a few photos of the people accompanying her. Look at the smiles on their faces, which, according to tradition, also strengthens the relationship between the people of the groom's village and the bride's.

During this event, many gifts were also given to the bride and groom from both their families and friends and relatives.

And the gift will be displayed in one of the simple places like the place where I have taken some of the pictures that have been shared above, there you can also see several people from their relatives sitting and writing notes about who and by whom they delivered the gift.

OK, friends, those are some of the pictures in my daily blog this time about one of Aceh's traditions, which I hope you all like and are entertained by what I share and see you in my next upload.
