How My Country's Situation Redefined My Favourite Means Of Transportation

What Is Your Favourite Mode of Transport?"

Hello #indiaunited friends. Happy midweek, I welcome you to my blog. Travelling can be a very exciting hobby, especially when it is done with joy and freedom. The reason some choose to be tourists is to find expression in travelling to places to explore and learn new things.
Recently, I learnt about an Indian man,” Benny Prasad,” a musician who has travelled to over 245 countries around the world with over 17 passports. This shows that he has been flying for a long time and is not ready to quit travelling.

The terminal I normally use while travelling

Talking about my favorite mode of transport. I will say it's the road. However, when I am attending official assignments in my country of origin, I go by air, but most often I go by road. Considering safety, I think road transportation is safer. For example, if there is a crash, it is difficult to have survivors; this includes the waterways.

While growing up, we traveled to the village in my daddy’s car, and the journey was always very exciting, filled with thrilling moments of stopping at some popular junctions to stretch and take snacks. You will hear popular junctions like the (coconut and corn) where most vehicles will stop and have a little refreshment.

I like using road transportation because it is cheaper and more friendly. There is a high level of interaction among the passengers on the way, stopping at popular junctions for a time-out while we browse the local markets to buy things for ourselves.

However, with the recent increase in insecurity and bad roads, I am reviewing using road transportation, especially when I am travelling to the regions in my country of origin with a high rate of insecurity. This is because we need to be alive to tell our story.

During one of my travels

Additionally, around this time last year, I travelled to the eastern part of my country on a visit to my eldest sister's house. We took off very early from my state of residence, arrived at the popular junction, and had refreshments. Then we continued to engage with each other while the driver concentrated on driving us to our destination. We also made memorable stops at other junctions where all the passengers are allowed to alight, walk around, and get items for their families. This kind of leverage cannot be enjoyed using the other mode of transportation. I was carried away with buying local food and other items, and nearly exceeded my budget.

One of the chaotic moments we witnessed on the road

Some passengers made new friends and exchanged contacts. Some also started discussing business affairs, while some engaged us with recent happenings around the communities as we passed them.
Outside the security issues that are obvious and eating deep into my country's communities. Road transportation remains my favorite mode of transportation because it gives me freedom to interact and enjoy myself without any form of restriction or fear.

Traveling is beautiful, unless it is not convenient, the experiences are always memorable. Travelling 245 countries? Maybe it's probably a typing error but we only have 195/197 countries in the world.

I was lost in wishea for a moment when you said you travel by air, how is the experience up there?

@emreal, that was how it was stated on the instagram hamdle where I watched the video. The name is not hidden, hence you can make your findings by fact finding the man.
For more clarity, I have also used the ChatGPT to reconfirm the video and it has even refined and updated the mans claims to have visited 247 this time around meaning the veraion I read is even outdated.
Check for Benny Prasad and enjoy the reading.
I have also attached the screen shot for your perusal.
Coming to taking flights, my firat experience was with my elder sister from Portharcourt to Lagos. Though I was naive with the seat belts and other procedures.
Again, the taking off and landing bumped my mind that first time.
Thereafter, my official duties made it comfortable and a thing to reckon with.
