It was very cold in Istanbul in the morning, but in the afternoon the sun that we have been longing for weeks showed itself and the weather warmed up a little bit. I took a walk to enjoy the sun while I was working.

İstanbul sabah çok soğuktu ancak öğleden sonra haftalardır hasret olduğumuz güneş kendisini gösterdi ve havalar az da olsa ısındı. Çalışırken müsait bir zamanımda güneşin tadını çıkarmak için biraz yürüyüş yaptım.
I have shared the Nakkaştepe nation garden with you before. I went there again and walked a bit. Then I visited the Şüheda mosque just below it. The mosque is located outside the settlement, but the courtyard of the mosque was full of cars. People from far and wide came to visit and worship. Of course, the crowd of cars was not only for the mosque but also for the national garden.
Daha önce Nakkaştepe millet bahçesini sizlerle paylaşmıştım. Yine oraya giderek biraz yürüdüm. Ardından hemen alt tarafında Şüheda camisini ziyaret ettim. Cami konum olarak yerleşim yerinin dışarısında bulunuyor ancak caminin avlusu arabalarla doluydu. Uzak demeden insanlar ziyarete ve ibadet etmeye gelmiş. Tâbi araba kalabalığı sadece cami için değil, millet bahçesi için gelenlerde vardı.
Since its minaret is built differently from the minarets of normal mosques, you realize that it is a mosque when you get a little closer.
Although the mosque looks small from the outside, the part reserved for worship is quite large. There is also a special section for women on the upper floor.
Minaresi normal camilerin minaresinden farklı yapıldığı için cami olduğu biraz daha yakınına gelince fark ediliyor.
Cami dışardan bakıldığında her ne kadar küçük görünse de ibadet için ayrılan kısım oldukça büyük. Bunun yanında üst katında kadınlar için de özel bir bölümü mevcut.
Mosques in my country generally have different architectural shapes. Decorations are also quite common. This mosque is an exception. The interior is quite plain. This certainly doesn't mean that I don't like the mosque. On the contrary, it is more spacious inside.
The ceiling of the mosque has a little architectural structure.
Ülkemdeki camiler genel olarak farklı mimari şekiller içerir. Süslemeler de oldukça yaygındır. Bu cami istisna bir örnek sergiliyor. İç kısmı oldukça sade. Bu durum kesinlikle camiyi beğenmediğim anlamına gelmiyor. Aksine sade olduğu içerisi daha ferah.
Caminin tavanı ise az da olsa mimari bir yapıya sahip.
One of my favorite parts of the mosque is that it is surrounded by greenery. There are many trees on the right, left and back sides. If it wasn't cold I would probably lie down on the grass 😅
Speaking of greenery; the environmental factor was also prioritized while building the mosque. The trunk of a tree passes through the roof.
Caminin en beğendiğim yanlarından birisi de yeşillik ile iç içe olması. Sağında solunda ve arka taraflarında birçok ağaç bulunuyor. Hava soğuk olmasa muhtemelen çimlere biraz uzanırdım. 😅
Yeşillik alandan bahsetmişken; Cami inşa edilirken çevre faktörü de ön planda tutulmuş. Bir ağacın gövde kısmı çatının içinden geçiyor.
I also liked the lighting system of the mosque very much, especially the chandeliers resembling the lamps used in ancient times. I said the interior of the mosque is quite simple, but there are calligraphy decorations on some parts of the walls.
Even though it was a short walk for me, I enjoyed the sunshine and visited this beautiful mosque. I hope it will be sunny for a few days. 🙂

Caminin ışıklandırma sistemini de çok beğendim. Özellikle avizeler eski zamanlarda kullanılan lambaları andırıyor. Caminin iç kısmına oldukça sade demiştim ancak duvarların bazı yerlerinde hat sanatı süslemeleri bulunuyor.
Benim için kısa süreli bir yürüyüş olsa da güneşin tadını çıkardım hem de bu güzel camiyi gezdim. Umarım havalar birkaç gün güneşli olur. 🙂
