I think that every person who decided to settle in a village and start breeding poultry and domestic animals, even if he has never been a hunter, will have to become one at some point, because sometimes you will have to run after poultry to turn it, say, into broth.
At such moments, instincts similar to those of a wolf should wake up, which is deprived of sentimentality in those moments when he wants to eat.
I am sure that I am deprived of such sentimentality towards chickens and rabbits, but as for other animals, then my wolf instinct can fall asleep lol.
I look at geese and see very smart and intelligent birds... at such, the hand may not understand.
Well, if you think about it, goose meat is not that tasty, you can get by with trout, or the same chicken, this is a good argument not to look in the direction of such meaty birds, which are very profitable to keep if there is an opportunity to graze them and there is a body of water nearby.
