While exploring a small forest in my village, I found something interesting growing on a rotten log. This mushroom has a small body with a bell-shaped brownish cap. At first, I thought it was an ordinary mushroom, but after taking a closer look, I realized that this was Coprinellus domesticus, one of the types of mushrooms from the inkcap group.
This mushroom has a characteristic smooth-looking cap with radial lines on the edges. Its distinctive color makes it easy to recognize, especially when growing in small groups on damp wood. I used a macro lens to capture the details, especially the texture of the cap and the fragile stem.
The uniqueness of this mushroom is its autolysis process, where parts of its body slowly melt into a black liquid over time. This process, although it looks strange, is one of the ways this mushroom spreads its spores. Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to see the process directly, because the mushrooms I found were still fresh.
