The world is changing rapidly and the job requirements are also changing rapidly. Once upon a time Chemical Engineer used to be the hottest job and I think even today there are only a very limited amount of chemical engineers available worldwide. They are also in highly paid positions doing something amazing. Similar to that, a demand is always created, and the job needs keep changing based on the demand.
I would like to highlight some of the sectors that can have a great future in the coming years and are the ones that can provide the best jobs to individuals. Right now from my perspective, I see a great demand for these sectors.
Energy sector
Renewable energy is something that has always had its demand but recently after we saw a big spike in energy needs, this sector is also has a great demand. We need alternatives for the current energy generation methods and mostly renewable alternatives are the best ones. We also need a lot of innovation around batteries to reduce the size of the batteries and also to store charges innovatively somehow.
AI developers and Engineers
AI is going to rule the world in the coming years. Every since the first AI use case was introduced, the world has changed a lot and heavy pressure has been created on all product-based companies to have AI elements included in their products. New grads are shifting more towards data science and they also become AI developers or Engineers.
Security management experts
As the technology is growing rapidly, the need for security is also increasing. Some data is sensitive and some data needs careful handling. On order to manage the data well, it is important to have security experts. Someone with a good amount of experience is having great demand in this field and sometimes a good security fix can save several millions for the company.
Healthcare and medicine
Health care and medicine is something that will always have the demand. Now that we are having some advanced equipment and treatments available, this sector is also blooming and will continue to grow bigger in the future along with the pharma industry. There is also a wide acceptance of alternative medicines available and with the help of some learning materials, people can get more help from nature to treat a lot of diseases.
Cloud Engineers for data management
Everything is now moving to the cloud and all the data is now available in the cloud. To be honest AWS and Azure are ruling the world by having a lot of clients in their infrastructure. The demand for cloud Engineers and data management experts will keep happening in the next few years because of the volume of data that can be in the cloud. There will also be a need for having backups and preventing data loss. Cloud Engineers will have to keep the environment up all the time ensuring there is no issues anywhere.
