Greetings, friends!
It seems that everything is as usual, everything is familiar and standard - I'm coming from a morning walk. But there is a feature. This walk took place more than 1000 km from my house. Yes, I am visiting my daughter and every morning I walk by the pond.
But today I want to talk about a special shadow hunt - these are the shadows of my physical work.
No, no, friends. It's just shadows from the fence. I liked them.
I came back from a walk, and my son-in-law and I started preparing a place for the installation of a children's play complex. It was yesterday morning. We need to fill a 5mx5m square with sand, about 20 cm high, then we need to fill the site with rubble up to the soil level.
I was carrying sand, and my son-in-law was leveling it on the playground.
Installing this complex is not the most important job this week. We have a lot of things to do. I have already planted 7 fruit trees - 3 apple trees, 4 cherries and 2 plums. It is also planned to plant 7 thuja trees.
The children's country house is under development. They started living and relaxing in it in the middle of last summer. They often came in the winter. Now they are gradually building something on the territory of the cottage and improving the site. They need to make a lawn, we also started building a gazebo, installed a barbecue house so that we could cook kebabs and other food outside the house.
There's a lot of work, but there's not much time for it. I plan to go back home on May 4. But maybe I'll stay another 1 day.
A nice sunny morning and a beautiful day ended with a warm evening. We planned to finish the installation of the sports complex today. But... God heard our plans, laughed, and decided to make a little joke.
We assembled this children's complex, measured its location on the playground. The son-in-law made installation holes in the ground. Today we wanted to pour concrete into these holes so that the complex would stand firmly.
In the morning, I walked around the pond again, hunted various birds with my camera, and took photos of the landscape. Everything was wonderful and the sun was pleasing to my eyes. When I returned home, my daughter was already preparing breakfast. I already knew the weather forecast for today, but my brain refused to believe that it would rain and snow.
But we didn't manage to finish our work. After breakfast, we left the house, and it became clear that the wind had changed; it began to blow strongly from the north and low rain clouds appeared in the sky. We switched to plan B and started installing windows in the gazebo.
Yes, the weather changed in just an hour. It started to rain and even snow. We managed to install 2 large windows. A son-in-law wouldn't be able to do it alone.
There is a real storm outside the window right now - strong gusts of wind and rain.
The weather forecast promises that all this will stop in the morning.
