The starlings here use our human houses by poking holes in the roofs and building nests. The condo building next to me had their whole gutter facade with holes in it full of starlings. Eventually they filled all the holes in with foam then put a stronger material up to prevent them from nesting there.

Wow! This is a big surprise. Urban swallows usually build such nests.
