Buenos días mi comunidad bonita. En medio de todo lo que hemos vivido en estas dos últimas semanas, también nos quedan las lecciones de vida, enseñanzas que nos abren los ojos ante tantas realidades que muchos no han querido ver, y de alguna manera, pido a Dios que sensibilice tantos corazones duros.
Una de estas tantas realidades, es el maltrato animal y la indiferencia hacia el abandono de muchos perritos que deambulan por las calles. Llegando incluso a ser crueles y despiadados con ellos, sin ningún tipo de motivo que lo justifique.
Entre las tantas cosas que hoy en día se visualizan en mi país, están los incontables casos de maltrato animal y abandono, conllevando a crear fundaciones, grupos de proteccionismo, proteccionistas independientes, e instituciones, que unidos luchan a diario para mitigar en lo posible la avalancha de casos y denuncias.
Pero, como para obsequiarle de alguna manera un latigazo a muchas conciencias oscuras en este tema del maltrato animal, en medio de la tragedia que aún vive el país, surgieron una gran cantidad de rescatistas que protagonizaron las búsquedas, y lograron localizar a muchas personas con vida debajo de los escombros. Sobre todo en La Guaira, que fue donde se contabilizó la mayor cantidad de víctimas.
Imagen cortesía de Fundación Napda en InstagramSí, me refiero a los rescatistas caninos, que encabezados por un hermoso perrito llamado Tsunami, hicieron una maravillosa labor de rescate de muchas vidas. Llegaron perritos rescatistas de muchos países, y aún con el dolor de nuestros corazones, nos permitimos alegrarnos de emoción por esta cuadrilla con colitas.
Tsunami es de Venezuela, es un perrito rescatado que fue víctima de maltrato animal y abandono, y la persona que lo adoptó forma parte de un equipo de rescatistas. No sólo le dieron amor y cuidados, sino que fue entrenado para salvar vidas humanas, y de animales también. De la misma manera está Milo, otro perrito rescatado que logró salvar tres vidas en los derrumbes, pero él aún no ha recibido entrenamiento. Actuó por su instinto, el de tener un alma noble y pura.
He ahí nuestra lección de vida, en Venezuela se contabiliza un número impensable de casos por maltrato a perros, tanto de calle como en hogares, y una cuadrilla de más de cien perros entrenados, logró rescatar a muchas vidas humanas en la tragedia del terremoto… seguimos recibiendo enseñanzas, y ésta no puede pasar por alto. Gracias a Tsunami, y a todos los perritos rescatistas que han apoyado en este momento difícil que atraviesa Venezuela.

Good morning, my beautiful community. Amidst everything we've experienced these past two weeks, we've also gained life lessons, teachings that open our eyes to so many realities that many have chosen to ignore. And in some way, I pray to God that He softens so many hardened hearts.
One of these many realities is animal abuse and indifference towards the abandonment of so many dogs that roam the streets. People are even cruel and heartless towards them, without any justifiable reason.
Among the many things we see in my country today are the countless cases of animal abuse and abandonment, leading to the creation of foundations, animal protection groups, independent animal rights activists, and institutions that, united, fight daily to mitigate, as much as possible, the avalanche of cases and reports.
But, as if to deliver a kind of wake-up call to many dark consciences regarding animal abuse, amidst the ongoing tragedy in the country, a large number of rescuers emerged, leading the search efforts and managing to locate many people alive beneath the rubble. This was especially true in La Guaira, where the highest number of victims was recorded.
