Hay algo que en mi país es tradicional, y es que jamás pasamos por alto la costumbre de celebrarlo todo, los santos patronos, los días especiales, y hasta algunas nuevas y extrañas fechas mundiales. Y con respecto a la celebración de hoy, una frase muy hermosa dice, de vez en cuando todos debemos dejar salir al niño que llevamos dentro, más aún si se trata de su semana de celebración. Hoy es el Día del Niño en muchos lugares del mundo, y toda la semana se han estado realizando en mi ciudad, emotivos eventos para homenajear a nuestros pequeñines.

Este viernes se realizó un hermoso compartir en un parque recreacional de la zona con la participación y colaboración de muchos emprendimientos de ambas ciudades, en los que donaron comidas, juguetes, golosinas y postres de gran variedad, bebidas, piñatas, transporte para trasladarlos hasta el lugar ya que quedaba en las afueras de la ciudad, y muchas otras cosas que fueron valiosas para lograr la logística del evento y que éste resultará exitoso. Adultos que volvieron a ser niños jugando, bailando y creando divertidas iniciativas donde los niños rieron y disfrutaron, eso no tiene precio. Considerando también, que los niños que participaron formaban parte de comunidades de muy bajos recursos económicos, y se trataba de hacer para ellos un día inolvidable. Fueron tantos los donativos, que aún después de brindarles a los pequeñitos presentes una gran cantidad de cosas, sobró para hacer otro evento el día de ayer. Esta vez los chicos de la fundación se trasladaron a dos caseríos aledaños a la ciudad, y pudieron hacer un pequeño compartir para varios chiquitos que vivían allí. Ellos contentos por poder tener un día del niño especial, en medio de tantas necesidades básicas que poseen.

Pero como la celebración continúa, a partir de mañana ya están activos muchos planes vacacionales en esta zona, donde cientos de niños van a estar disfrutando no sólo el mes del niño, sino también sus merecidas vacaciones escolares después de un arduo año escolar. Y ayer nosotras nos fuimos de compras para obtener los materiales de nuestro emprendimiento, y hasta los comercios y abastos están repletos de atracciones para los más pequeños. De esa manera dejamos salir nuestras niñas, y disfrutamos de la alegría que embarga la ciudad en esta celebración para nuestros niños.

Me despido deseándoles hoy un día maravilloso a todos los niños que lo estén celebrando, y también mucha creatividad a los papitos que amenizarán el día de sus pequeñines... que la diversión sea para todos.

Adults who became children again, playing, dancing and creating fun initiatives where the children laughed and enjoyed themselves, that is priceless. Considering also, that the children who participated were part of communities with very low economic resources, and it was a matter of making an unforgettable day for them. There were so many donations, that even after giving the little ones present a lot of things, there was enough left over to do another event yesterday. This time the children of the foundation went to two villages near the city, and were able to make a small sharing for several children who lived there. They were happy to have a special children's day, in the midst of so many basic needs they have.

But as the celebration continues, starting tomorrow many vacation plans are already active in this area, where hundreds of children will be enjoying not only the month of the child, but also their well-deserved school vacation after an arduous school year. And yesterday we went shopping to get the materials for our project, and even the stores and grocery stores are full of attractions for the little ones. So we let our girls out, and enjoyed the joy that fills the city in this celebration for our children.

I say goodbye today wishing a wonderful day to all the children who are celebrating it, and also a lot of creativity to the daddies who will liven up their little ones' day... may the fun be for everyone.
