Uncle Joe has been away from home for over two years now. Immediately he finished his high school education he was fortunate to be awarded a scholarship to pursue his education in a foreign land. So he did not waste much time to take up the offer and travel immediately.
His cousins however remember fond memories of his and immediately they got information that he will be returning home having successfully completed his studies they kept counting the days for him.
Few days to his arrival, Joe's expectations about his cousins also heightened. He managed to get a few things for them ranging from clothes, toys for the little ones and brand new canvas for the grown-ups. He knows they'll be filled with joy when he gives them what he has bought for everyone.
But there was a twist in his academic programme which made him to delay his coming back till Christmas 🎄 of that year. Once he has completed everything Joe boarded his flight ✈️ and returned home to a gallant and rousing reception. His cousins and even nephews received him with each having unending stories to tell him. That night, Joe listened to all of them with rapt attention.
Then came his own turn to tell them how the foreign country he had sojourned for two year look like. But then he had unveiled his goodies and shared all to them including the brand new canvas. They all were captivated with his fascinating stories about the foreign land.
One of his cousins infact told him that night that he will also follow his footsteps. Joe was happy to hear that and he encouraged himself to read his books and take his studies very seriously. Who knows, he will even surpass him and attain greater heights.
