Few years ago, Jane was hale and hearty. She commands respect wherever she goes. At her place of work, whenever she arrives other junior staff sit up to their responsibilities. That was the state of affairs at Ibrox LLC until one late summer when everyone could not see Jane at work.
Always driven by her preferred chauffeur, Jane usually arrive her place of work by 8:00 AM dot. But on this fateful day, Jane was nowhere to be found. By noon, it became very clear that Jane won't show up for the day. The head of personnel rang her up and it was not Jane that picked up the phone. It was a staff nurse.
The staff nurse told the head of personnel that Jane has been admitted in their health facility. She had an accident on her way to work.
Jane was away for about four weeks. She was lucky that she had minor bruises and a broken bone. The medics did a good job to ensure that thise woinds and broken bone healed on time.
When Jane returned to work, sje coukd not climb the stairs. It was as if she was climbing over the ridge. She only managed to do so with the help of crutches. Her high-handedness towards their staff was reduced. She became more tolerant and accommodative unlike wjat it used to be. Many saw the accident as a blessing in disguise, even though they sympathised woth her too.
