Hello, coffee lovers around the world.
There are many reasons why I return to a familiar coffee shop: the quality of the coffee ☕ is always a deciding factor, as are the atmosphere, the design, the service, the location, and so on.
However, for me, one of the reasons I go back to a coffee shop is because of the people, the friendships I can find there.
In today's case, I knew I was going to meet up with several of my writer friends at the UNEAC headquarters coffee shop in Las Tunas province.
They always gather there before or after cultural events.
Artists frequent this café as a meeting place because of its bohemian and rustic atmosphere. There's a very interesting artistic vibe here: art is always being discussed, and you can find works of art (sculpture, paintings, prints, photography, design) everywhere you look. Music plays, and writers read their work aloud.
Perhaps that's why, in addition to selling coffee by the cup, they give us the option of buying a whole thermos and taking it to our table to use whenever we want, without having to be interrupted by the waitstaff.
This is something that is greatly appreciated when we are having a private conversation or when a writer is reading their work and we don't want to be interrupted.
So that makes two reasons why I came to the UNEAC cafeteria today: good company and coffee. They attract each other, and that's what attracts me.
So, if you're in Las Tunas and want to enjoy good art and good coffee, now you know where to go.

Hola, amigos del café alrededor del mundo.
Regresar a una cafetería conocida puede tener muchas razones: la calidad del café ☕ siempre es algo determinante, la atmósfera, el diseño, la calidad del servicio, la localización de esta cafetería en cuestión, etc.
Sin embargo, para mí, una de las razones por las que regreso a una cafetería, es por las personas, las amistades que puedo encontrar ahí.
En el caso de hoy, sabía que iba a encontrarme con varios de mis amigos escritores en la cafetería de la sede de la UNEAC en la provincia de Las Tunas.
Aquí siempre se reúnen antes o después de haber alguna actividad cultural.
Los artistas toman a esta cafetería como un centro de encuentros debido a su ambiente bohemio y rústico. Aquí hay una atmósfera artística muy interesante: siempre se está hablando de arte y donde sea podemos encontrar alguna obra de la plástica (escultura, pinturas, grabados, fotografía, diseño), se escucha música y los escritores leen sus textos en voz alta.
Quizás es por eso que, además de vender el café por tazas, nos dan la oportunidad de comprar el termo completo y llevárnoslo a la mesa para disponer de él cuando queramos, sin tener que ser interrumpidos por el servicio.
Esto es algo que se agradece mucho cuando estamos conversando algo privado o cuando un escritor se encuentra leyendo su obra y no queremos ser interrumpidos.
Así que ya son dos razones por las que vine hoy a la cafetería de la UNEAC: las buenas compañías y el café. Ambas se atraen mutuamente y eso me atrae a mí.
Así que, si están por Las Tunas y quieren disfrutar del buen arte y el buen café, ya saben a dónde ir.
