The Freedom Liberty silver round has a very cool look to the finish and the design.
Prior to getting this piece I had heard of Asahi Refining before and seen pictures of silver bars with the Asahi markings. But to my surprise the mint is about 30 minutes from where I live and I had no idea it was there. It's not in a very nice part of town but at some point I am going to have to stop by and check the place out.
I was checking out the Asahi Refiing website and they do some high quality work. They don't have a huge product line but they also do custom work so I imagine their portfolio is pretty impressive.
The obverse side features a fully frosted finish with the statue of liberty and the inscription LIBEERTY on the top and to the bottom left 999 FINE SILVER.
The Reverse side features a fully frosted finish also with an eagle flying in the middle with the inscription FREEDOM on the top and 1 TROY OUNCE on the bottom. The mint mark for Asahi Refining is located just under the bottom inscription.
