My property boundary
Something I've needed to do for a while is post my entire property line. I've had all the road frontage posted for a while, but the back line was not until this last weekend. You need to have your property posted for not only legal reasons but also just to keep people from hunting or trespassing. Plus, out here, it's just needed.
What is this?
I was lucky enough to have a neighbor help me out. He is one of the coolest guys I've ever met. A Vietnam veteran and homesteader for longer than I've been alive. He knew where the property line was because it was where his old deer hunting tree stand also was. This chair was just part of it...
Here you can see the steel frame that old swivel chair used to sit on. I can't imagine the guy I know now could never get up in that tree but in his youth he must have been quite the hunter!
Here is my neighbor Mr. Richard. He's one of my best friends and thanks to him, my property is now posted!
