Introduction
We thought we would do a weekly update on what we are up to and how we are doing on Rising Star. Quite a bit to catch up on this week as the game continues to develop and grow. Now in my last post I talked about the new Pawn Shop, lots of new shinies have been added to this and the competition for the Gold discs has been fierce! However many cards have been burnt which is only a good thing for the game with over 1 million cards being burnt so far and this has all only just started!
Now welcome to the Hotel Buskeria which has just been implemented, this is a place you send your fans to and they will never return. Sounds a bit like the bates hotel.... if you send over 1000 you will join the queue for a new limited edition shiny card with the highest person getting the card around every hour. So if you want unique cards then this is going to be a must do! Also it will continue to help support the game buy burning cards and reducing inflation.
In other news there is no longer any bonus packs from spending 100k SB, this is a great move and again helps to control the inflation within the game which is good in the long run! Also music promoter is back, however you will no longer be able to withdraw SP from the game. We are glad it is back as we like to play that part of the game and need the SP for lessons!
Our progress so far
We are currently in position 4th on the leader board, yep you heard that right, we are in 4th! Highest we have ever been or probably will ever be! With the changes in the score weighting the unique cards is what the tables are all about now and luckily we have quite a lot of uniques.
Favourite card for the week
Every week we will highlight our favourite card for the week. This week it is an old card called Pete Wong, it brings back memories of trying to get this card a long time ago and not being able to get one we could afford, happy days!
The Stick Up Boys tip for the week
This week our tip for newbies is don't try and play later game stuff before you can walk. yes all therse features are cool and exciting but they are designed to be for later game players. You need a good base of SB earning capacity and fans before you will be able to afford the SP to do these parts of the game!
Our NFT records in the game
As musicians one of our favourite things is having our records in the game! You can buy our records as well as stake on them. This is an amazing thing for artists to get more exposure for their music and earn a few starbits. It is also a brilliant way for you to support artists on the blockchain!
