Picture owned by me
Grocery bills pile up so high,
Costs soaring past the sky.
For the average Nigerian,
Getting food is no mean feat.
Families struggling, barely scraping by,
Prices soaring, wallets running dry.
To live is costly,
Yet to die, scary.
The hardship is getting intense.
Will it be our permanent offence?
Will the economy shift or change?
Will the prices ever be less strange?
But until then, let's make do,
Me and you, let's keep going.
Till we find a way to make it work,
Till we keep our spirits from going berserk.
