My Hustles!!!

The very moment I saw this topic "I smiled" And why did I smile? "You might be wondering" Well, this topic brought back a memory of a company I was posted to during my service days " which Is NYSC", a friend of mine introduced me to this company that is employing corpers that will serve there and the good news is that the company pays their corp members as well.

Hearing the "pay part" I ran with my document to the location of the company and was interviewed, after the whole process, they gave me some T-shirts and a face cap "I would have unwrapped it" but I didn't I decided to wait till I get to the house.

On getting to the house, I was so fascinated in opening it "so I did" Then I put it on to see the fitting it gave me, I didn't know there was a writeup at the back "Hehe!!" I wore it outside to show my friends in the neighborhood when they saw the writeup, instantly they started laughing "I was confused'' so I took it off and looked at the writeup " I laughed the hardest" Now what was the write up "We sell Cement for a living".

At that moment I became confused cause even though we sell cement " was the for a living necessary" The funny part is whenever I wear the T-shirt, passersby keep reading that statement aloud "like for me to hear" It was so funny.

Back to the Topic "What do I do for a living" Gladly I don't sell cement for a living again hehe!!!, growing up I was so fascinated by becoming an "accountant" so before entering the university, I didn't let anyone decide what I wanted to become, I went straight to my desired field of study "without stress". Currently, I'm an accountant by profession and that's what I do for a living like my people will say " counting money" Hehe!!!. My current position at my place of work is temporary because I'm seeking means getting a better job, as the saying goes "we look forward to better opportunities as we grow".

Aside from my profession as an "accountant," I'm also a hairdresser on a low key, I developed a passion for hairdressing when I was way younger, and I did some practicals on people's hair and that helped me to become a better one today, I wouldn't want to show off but then "I'm very good at it".

For the hairdressing part, "I don't do it often" because of my work schedule at the office, so the only time I'm always available to do people's hair is during the weekend, imagine after a stressful Saturday with laundry and cleaning, I'd be so tired but yet "money must be made" so I always create that weekend for my clients, my job as a hairdresser is permanent because it's a skill I developed and can't be taken away from me anytime soon.

These are the things I do for a living "Ooh least I forgot" hive has become a huge part of the things I do for a living as well. Because with everything that I've been doing with my life, I always create time to be active on the platform and interact with other authors.

Thanks for reading🌹
