Its been few years I have been here and I have learnt a lot over the period this time. I am participating in the India United contest and sharing some advices for the new comer on this platform. Being on a social media is now a old school thing, the future of social media is social blockchain and so if someone have reached till here and joined this blockchain they should feel happy about it as they are ahead of 99.9% of the population of this world as they are still unaware about something like this existing in this world where even writing a comment will reward them.
First thing to do is identify whether you are a good reader or writer. If have never written blogs before it is better to start as a reader here and simply read people's blog that attracts you. If you like technology then read blogs under technology tag, if you like life related blogs read blogs under life tag. If you like finance and technology simply head over to the Inleo and you will find suitable blogs for yourself. When you will start to read you will start to learn how are people actually writing blogs here. That will help you learn and shape your blogs accordingly.
When you start reading blogs, the next thing that can be done is to interact with them or maybe sharing small feedback of those blogs in the comments of those post. That will help you a lot as by doing that people will start to know about you. There is another interesting thing you can do and that is to write a thread and share about that blog. It will help you get known on the entire Inleo threads. I love inleo and I will definitely suggest you to check it out and there if you have good luck you can even earn $1+ on a single small thread worth 30-50 words only.
Always be your own competition. Analyze yourself and see if you have improved or not. With time you will love doing all this and when you will compare your old version with new one you will realize that maybe in the beginning on your days it might have taken hours to write a blog but after a pure dedication of one month of time you will see that you will be able to do the same thing much more quickly and in a more polished way. I am saying this based on my experience so I know that it is true.
Then few things that I think we all should remember is to avoid copy pasting someone else work. Just imagine if the same thing is happened to you, will you be able to take it? I think no one can see their work getting stolen and then on top on that earning rewards on them. So never copy paste anyone else's work and even if you are using images from some open source just make sure to mention them by adding the link to the original source of that image of maybe a piece of information. NO TO PLAGIARISM is the rule here on Hive Blockchain.
Last, you can participate in giveaways and contests as that will help you earn some nice rewards in the form of votes as well as different tokens, It can be tokens from different projects running on hive blockchain or maybe a game running on hive blockchain. Talking of games, I should not forget to mention that if anyone is a gamer then they can start their journey on hive by simply starting playing those games and then the rest remains the same as I have talked in the blog already. Also consistency, hard work, dedication, etc are not mentioned in my blog as that is something known by everyone. So, I think there is no need of telling those things to people.
