Future Of a Hive Account | A Thought Even a Whale May Miss Out

Today a very different one.

We got brains and we don't need to pay for our thinking. So different thoughts always hit our mind. My today's one is, after a couple of shots, totally about hive.

We, who is reading me, got at least one hive account, small or big. Have you ever thought of the future of your hive account? Ofcourse Hive is not very old. But you know when a good system starts it becomes unstoppable. I thnik none yet get a chance to hand it over to anyone else. If hive lived 100 years right now, we must see a lot of handing over of different accounts. Because our life time is lesser than 100 years.👀 But Hive is living just less than a decade. So now my question to all of you who love hive and its growth in future. Would you close your accounts before your last brethe here? Now give it a thought. What you gonna do in future with your hive Id(s)?

People will have different choices. Like cashing out, transfering to son or sharing keys with wife etc. As death is inevitable and none knows when it will come. So before time we should think about it. Very less people around our neighbour know about hive. If a whale left us before time and he hadn't share his knowledge and information about hive what will happen then! It is good for the system but for us who is still living here, won't like to go through the same. So we should asign someone to handle it.

We generally save password online and a few of us have it in hard drive and few got laminated copy of keys. Now think a whale passes away, wish not before time and none knows about his hive satus and let's take he saved his Hive details laminated and locked in almirah. Then It has now passed one hundred years and his next generation sudenly got the keys in almirah and by then suppose hive got $100 value and his child know about hive! Dang!

Just keeping details saved online is not enough. Your next generation won't be able to access it. 🤔

Coution for the wahle if you don't know when he calls you, give it a thought. Generally most of the people, including me, don't think about it as death is a rear incident in soneone's life. But people should think.

For your kind info I haven't invested nothing in terms of money but sure I'll in near future and if you wanna know my thoughts about future of my hive account, then let me tell you. I'll educate my posterior first and disposal but hope he doesn't call me before that. 😭
