Today was the day for weekly rewards distribution for the Golem overlord shard spending this week. I spent close to 4k Shards for being among the top 22 on the leaderboard as you can see in the screenshot below. I think it costed me a lot as I don't have much left with me now but it's ok.
The thing is that I will have to spend another 625 Shards to open the weekly rewards. This is the highest so far that I have ever spent on a Quest opening in the history of Golem overlord. I remember spending 300 Shards max until now but we all have to go through the first time someday or the other.
Sadly, I have to say this that spending 625 shards was not worth it. The rewards was not at all good and I feel horrible right now. The rewards I earned were not even good enough to compete with tier 3 Quest I open on a daily basis but anyways there is nothing I can do about this.
I also played Splinterlands today as I want to learn playing the game and get familiar with the new cards so that I can perform well in some time. You can see the battle rules I was given for the battle in the screenshot below. The Mana was 36 so we can take players with more Mana values here.
I selected Keyla there and decided to go on with it but will that help us? We will find that out in few seconds.
Below you can see the Cards selected by me and the opposite player. I really did not knew about the majority of those cards so I was just seeing the battle and learning how they were performing in the battle and all of these cards were perfectly fine in my opinion.
The sad part is that I lost but it is ok as sometimes the defeat is there to teach us something and I have learnt few things if not many from this one battle itself. I will have to look over the market to understand which new cards I must buy so that I can compete with the players with new cards.
I also played few more battles and they were not in my favor either but lets not lose hope and continue so that we can turn the tables for ourselves soon. I will have to buy a healer as that plays a important role in most of those battles and I was frustrated with the continuous healing abilities. Some even came in with multiple healers.
Above is a little that I have to share from terracore. I just did three attacks and the results to them are shared. They are not so cool for sure but I am sharing them. I don't know when will my base will avoid the mini attacks stealing very little scraps. it is really frustrating to see those attack on my base.
What else can I do than to keep upgrading my base further. Should I focus on the defense finally? Maybe that will help me so next time we get penalties we are going to give a advantage to defense of our base and see how it works for us until the next penalty is given to us.
