What You Need To Know As A Newbie On Hive

in Indiaunited2 days ago

Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗

Hive can be a puzzling and confusing platform, especially when you are totally new to the crypto world. Many join with high expectations; however, the reality can be really frustrating for some, and this often leads to disappointment, and some end up leaving the platform.

When I joined Hive newly, I didn't have any prior knowledge about it apart from that it's a platform that I would earn from when I write and post. After writing a few posts without getting any upvotes, it was really frustrating, and this made me leave for more than one year. Then I came back and left again and came back again.

From my experience here and the few things I have learned, I think I can give a few tips even though I am also still learning about Hive.

The first thing I would tell a newbie is for them to secure their private keys (password). Unlike other platforms that have the forgot password option where you can reset your password. Hive doesn't have that option; once you lose your private keys, you lose your account. There's actually no way of recovering it.

Secondly, get to understand and explore the different communities, what their rules and regulations are, and what niche they are into. I have seen many newbies making posts in communities they are not supposed to, which shows that they didn't read the rules or guidelines of that community. Not every community is for you, so find the ones that align with you.

Thirty, don't take the place of engagement for granted; engage with others as much as you can. I am actually learning this now. I am not really the chatting type, so I find it difficult to engage with others, but I am doing much better than before. So I also am still learning this. However, engaging with others is one of the ways you can grow faster.

Fourthly, create quality content. I have learned a lot from reading other people's posts, so when you write, have your readers in mind. When people are attractive to what you post and the style, they stay glue to most of your post.

Bonus points read other people's posts also; you will also learn a lot from them, and that's not just that it will also improve your writing skill. And be consistent.

This is my entry into this weeks prompt, you too a d check it out

THANK YOU FOR READING TO THE END 🤗
