Good day to you all and happy Sunday, I want to belief our weekend is going smoothly as we want? I welcome you for visiting my blog for this entry. Thanks to the India United for this weekly engagement started off recent. I personally love and appreciate this, I see that India united really prepared for this weekly engagement for the community and I'm impressed and happy about it. Last week prompt was a mind blowing one where I was able to share and express my opinion on the prompt. And to this week prompt, I really love it too because this make me remember when I first start out this hive journey about a year, six months ago now. I remembered how I started immediately I saw this topic and I was like, I need to write base on what I experienced then, so as to advice newbies that is just joining hive
When I first joined Hive, I didn’t fully understand how things worked. I was just excited to be part of a platform where people write and get rewarded. But as time went on, I started to see that Hive is not your regular social media. This place is different, and if you're just joining, I really suggest you take time to read this till the end, it will help you
First thing you need to know is that Hive is not a get-rich-quick platform. If you’re here expecting to make millions within your first few months, you go just tire fast. Hive is a place to grow your skills, share your voice, and build real connections with people across the world. The rewards will come, but you have to be consistent and patient

As a new user, you need to sit down and write creative and interesting content. Don’t just post anyhow or copy from somewhere. Try to make your content original, share stories, your thoughts, daily experiences, or anything that adds value. Even if it’s short, let it be meaningful
Consistency is very important. Try to post regularly, daily if possible, or at least 2 to 3 times a week. That’s how people will notice you and start supporting you. Posting once in a while and expecting magic won't work here
Also, Hive is not a place where you drop your posts and run away. It doesn’t work like that. You also need to engage with others. Read other people’s posts, drop real comments, and upvote when you enjoy their content. That’s how the community grows, and that’s how people will return the love back to you

One more thing, try to join communities that fit your interests. It helps a lot. For me, I like lifestyle and personal thoughts, so I joined places like Hive Ghana, Hive Naija, Leofinance and now India United. These communities will support and encourage you, especially when you’re just starting out
Finally, just enjoy the process. Some days your post will do well, some days it won’t. That’s normal. Don’t be discouraged. Just keep showing up, keep writing, and keep connecting. Hive rewards consistency, realness, and effort
So my advice to new users is simple: take Hive as a space to grow, not a money machine. Be creative, stay consistent, support others, and enjoy your journey. With time, you’ll start seeing the results you want
