Talking about favorite dApp, we all have our individual favorite choices as far as content creation is concerned. While I have made use of other interfaces for creating my content, Ecency is that dApp that stands out for me. If there is anything we all hate is stress , everyone wants that easy and stress free interface and that's what I see in Ecency.
Its user-friendly and well designed features make it number one for me. Also, one part that is always appealing to me whenever I click the app or use the website is the colour scheme used in its design. The blue colour is visually appealing and easy on the eyes.
Apart from that, another feature I enjoy is the word count indicator which allows me to track the length of my article without having to visit any website to do so. This allows me to meet up with the required word counts in my different community contests.
The last upgrade done to enhance usability was a plus. The dashboard made it easy for users to locate different features without stress. The bringing the pencil tool at the top allows old and new users to write articles without the need to seek assistance from anyone.
Making provision for draft is also another interesting thing I love. Once your content is drafted, everything remains intact anytime, any day you revisit it making it convenient for users. This interface is one where I can just wake up and see something has happened and what makes me happy about the change is that the change is a positive one as the developers see their users as their number one priority.
However, just like any platform is without flaws, the only challenge which is not a very big deal but stressful for a user like me is the encounter I do have whenever I'm adding tags. After adding a tag, the cursor remains in its current position, requiring me to scroll back to the tag column before adding another. Although this can be very stressful for impatient users, it can't be a reason for me to forget the overall convenience I enjoy.
Being my favorite interface, seeing it disappear one day would be painful and disappointing but if it happens I would be left with no choice but to change to another interface that suits my taste when it comes to usability and convenience. But with the consistent upgrade and improvements, I can conclude that the developers have their users first in mind and disappearance would be far from them.
