Assalamu alaikum,
Three days back my niece was admitted in the hospital because her Jaundice levels were 18.5 which is considered very high for a new born.
The doctors gave her Phototherapy for two days and then the test was done again and sadly the jaundice levels were still 14.
So they increased the intensity of Phototherapy and the tests were performed again after one day that is today.
During this therapy we have to keep monitoring the baby regularly because we have to make sure that her eyes are covered properly.
Thanks to god that the levels are now 11 and that is not too high and the doctors told us that we can take the baby back to the home.
The body should improve on its own from here but in case we observe anything wrong we can come back to the doctor anytime soon.
I hope that she will stay fine now and that god will protect her from all the bad things. I was sad to see her like that and I only want her to be happy now.
She has lost weight and I hope within coming weeks she will be healthy again. I stayed with my sister at the hospital for three days.
Even for me it was not easy as I have never done that before for anyone else. But family always stand be each other side in difficult times.
That is what my dad has taught us since the beginning. We are all like a hand, if we are together we can be a fist and separately we will lose everything.
I believe in that phrase a lot and I have even experienced it in my life. If you are someone who is not talking to your siblings for some reason.
Reach them out and sought things up as they are the ones who are your real family. Don't let distance destroy this beautiful relationship.
Sometimes we stop talking because of the third person and that is not a good thing to do. Always talk to each other and sought things out.
Don't just start trusting what the third person says because in todays world people are just there to make fun of your situation.
Anyways, take care of your new born or little kids as they need special attention and make sure to take them to doctor as soon as it is required.
