The snow looks good down at the marina.

Always some nice reflections in the calm of the marina.

All the boats and the docks are gone.

The dusting of snow makes summer seem a long time ago.

The snow melted and then reappeared at the higher elevations. Still some color on the trees lower on the mounatins. Oranges and browns only. Mostly the oaks and beeches. Red maples and yellow birch have dropped their leaves.

We tried to capture some of the northern lights but unfortunately it was cloudy when we went out. It was clear earlier but then the clouds rolled in. Maybe some color here looking north.

Instead of the Northern Lights this is a photo of my Neighbors Lights lol playing with low light photography. I was eager for northern lights but didn't get the chance to see what I could capture. Vermont has some spots where you can get dark skies but unfortunately clouds are common. Hills and trees also limit the clean views of the horizon in many places.
