I have taken and posted a few cotton stainer photos in the past, but most of them are when they are resting on the leaves or the branch, or when they are mating, so that they can reproduce and make sure that their species stays for a longer time here on this earth.
But this time I have something special, and this is the first time I've seen it and share it with all of you. This is the first time I actually saw it eating on the flower, maybe trying to feed on the nectar of the flower. Although there might be a good deeds that they did in the process, which help the pollination happen, they are also doing something bad if they did it in the cotton plant, as they can give the cotton the red stain, which will ruin the cotton.
Yes this cotton stianer bug, was busy eating the nectar from the weed's flower when I took the photos, and it didn't really bother to run away when I got close to is, and try to take the photo. They will usually will run away when they are on the resting state, but on the eating quest it just maybe a little bit off guard, the sugary attack from the nectar maybe is too much to resit. hahah
