I am not sure if you cna relate the joke, but reading the word Hamilton, my mind gos directly to the F1 Driver Lewis Hamilton. But otyda we are not talking about car race, or the driver Lewais Hamilton, but we are talking about Hamiltonius quadriguttatus.
Yep, that is the Latin name of this lovely weevil that I found on my latest photo hunt. Such a nice name for a beautiful weevil. I really love its bright color, although the shape of its head is very strange just like most of the weevil.
At first it flew mid air when I found it, and lucky for me that it landed on the nearest leaf that I can reach, and then when I tried to get close to it, it also doesn't feel threaten or anything, just let me take so many photos of him, on the tip of the leaf.
The toher lucky thing was that I could it in on open flat leaf, otherwise I have to open the rolled leaf that it used as protection as its name suggest.
But I think because of its name which suggest its behaviour, this guy can be a pest for farmer, because a roll leaf can certianly ruin the crop outcome in the harvest in the future.
but nevertheless we still should appreciate the beautify that this little guy hold.
