I was a little bit surprised to learn that this species is now having two names. According to this site here, this spider is proposed that Cosmophasis umbratica should be treated as a synonym of Cosmophasis thalassina.
When I look up on google to find the information of this spider, I get Cosmophais thalassina as the suggestion, while a few days ago I get Cosmophasis umbratica as the suggestion which I used as the tittle for the post featuring the similar spider, which you can read here
If you look at the previous post, will see the difference is on the bottom half of the spider abdomen.
Thw white stripe in the middle on the upper abdomen here is straight, with out any interuption, while the previous one, there is a slight black crossing near the end part of the abdomen.
While the rest of the color is the same, which makes sense that those name will be considered as a synonym for almost identocal species.
Like most of the jumping spider, while at first they seems to be skittich, but there will be time when they show you their agressive stance, like how this guy is doigng below, showing its beautiful eyes.
