The Stranglers - Midnight Summer Dream

in Music3 days ago (edited)

The Stranglers are one of the most influential English bands to emerge from the punk rock and new wave movements. In fifty years of playing and performing, and eighteen studio albums released, they have created their own original sound.
Now this is no longer the same band I knew in my youth, but, f*ck it, I'm not the same either.

I've seen them three times so far, the first time even with the original line-up.
Their worst concert for me, not because of them but because of the heavy rain. They stopped the concert shortly before the end because the band's amplifiers and organ were also flooded with water, so I didn't get to hear my favorite song, No More Heroes.

The song Midnight Summer Dream is from their seventh studio album, Feline, released in 1983.

The video is part of a performance held at Cave Romane, Pula, Croatia, on July 8, 2025.

The Stranglers are awesome! That is a great song you picked out. I love it!

It's true, I like it too. I took a few others, but it's all worse because of the rain...
