Fit - U Jee — ArchonApp

Fit is a Croatian band from Rijeka that celebrated its 40th anniversary. They started out as a punk band but soon shifted to a more melodic new wave sound with pop-rock elements. They were popular throughout the former Yugoslavia.

Following the breakup of Yugoslavia and the war, they stopped performing in 1991. They reunited in 2008.

They have released three studio albums, one live album, and a 40th-anniversary compilation.

Their music is melodic and emotional, with an urban Rijeka style, and has remained a cult favorite on the regional scene.

The song “U jee” is from their second album, Daj mi ruku (Give Me a Hand), released in 1989.

Oh, that's nice. I listened to them in the early days. Few months ago, I was at the Craft Beer Festival in Rijeka, and they were the main band, the opening act was My Buddy Moose :)

It's long story.. Rijeka, Belgrade, Amsterdam triangle.
Friends for almost 40 years, with original members.
New members I know closely too . man time goes too quick, and the world is too small :)

Long story. :) They were all living in Amsterdam , guitar player still does.They have their own studios for decades. I helped them with single "Ljubav je Magija" which was their sort of comeback single, and with social media at the time...
