This Mr. Green was looking down at me with a little bit of anger on his face, hmmmm maybe it is the usual facial expression that he has. So scary, and ready to eat you alive, and suck the blood of out your body.
But after another look on Google, I learned that Mr.Green is not as scary as his facial expression suggests. Not like his cousin, the assassin bug, who is a cold-blooded killer right from the day it was born.
Apparently Mr. Green is a bug from the Homoeocerus Genus. Homoeocerus is a genus of leaf-footed bugs in the family Coreidae. There are more than 120 described species in Homoeocerus, found in south and east Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Or simply Mr. green is a vegan, who looks like a killer and loves to eat meat or other animals. hahah. Just kidding.
It was resting om a higher branch when I saw it, so I need to reach my hand and my camera to be able to get the photos of it. But then I decided to pull the branch closer so that I could get the photos of its back. Lucky that it stay still for sometime, and letting me take some more photos. At least enough for me to select, and then share it here on Hive. : )
