Greetings,
How are you doing on this bright day after Easter?
I hope that you had a memorable time with your loved one during the holidays.
If the rain to resume its activities over the city, it will be so nice. The heat from this cloudless sky over the city is getting too much.
It is one thing to welcome summer after the coldest period of the year, but in seasonal rotation of drought and rain it is some time not cool to read on the forecast the presence of the sunny days week after weeks.
The celebration of Easter in such hot environment only means one problem in my city, power outage.
I had an alternative for the weekend to escape the fume of hot air inside the building. The beach open air activities were the refuge to all that could not bear the absence of power to cool down their homes.

I would submit this first photo for the contest jury appreciation.

Experience living in a crowed town reveals the limit of the central power plant to serve a massive demand of electricity to run coolers or air conditioners. In addition to this continual demand in energy, I should add the entertainment and local industries' consumption. I knew it will be impossible to stay at home and survive this heat, so I went to the beach.

It was not as crowed as the last festival organized by the municipal town committee for traditional custom.
I was not going to complain because it was early in this first half of the day and soon more people will follow the move to leave the block structure in the city to the Ocean side of town.

My phone camera was active and moved in all directions to capture as many moments during this beautiful day.
The wind from the Ocean was strong, so I made sure to secure my feet in the sand before pulling my phone out of my backpack.
It was not hot under this bright sun. I could feel thirsty, though. I walked alongside the waves and put my legs in the water on multiple occasions.

I got a short with medium size covering my knee, so the water could almost touch the short when I was walking near the spot where waves break on the ground.
My pocket was not the secure place to put my smartphone. I had a misfortune to lose a wallet wearing this short before. I preferred to hold my belongings in my bag.
I took all the time to position my lens to capture this foam formed right on the spot where the brown particle of sand turned black, saturated by saltwater.

This waves on the photo above was strong I lost my footing during this surprising mass of water poring in my direction.
I have not anticipated the speed of the of water above my feet. I move on of my hand to reach the ground while keeping the camera on the second hand high in the air.
Children playing not too far from this location were laughting and pointed to their parents what was happening.
I was lucky the second waves just coming did not hold enough strength to counter the high volume of water already runnning back to the Ocean.
My camera was safe, and my clothes were not wet. I got a hand in the sand, but it was no big deal. It was unexpected and fun. I continued walking in the direction of the palm trees to start the second half of the day, picnic with friends.
