Hello everyone, how's your week going? Hope you're having a blast! ๐ค
Happy to be able to join this Phone Photography #phonography Contest hosted by @untilwelearn with thanks!
I will be sharing throwback photos of the quarantine hotel where the government locked us in for a bit for the safety of all during the pandemic.
Travelling during pandemic wasn't easy. Airports had been closed for a while so when it started to open again, everyone has to act quickly (because plane seats were limited) and precisely (following protocols, preparing docs needed) in order to be allowed out or in a country.
Getting back to my hometown meant I had to stay in a quarantine hotel for 4days and 3nights before heading home.
So happy that I've been put in a nice hotel not very far from the airport. So I had the airport and a motorway/highway and the vast sky as my view. Not bad at all. I loved it a lot.
It rained once as well...so I've seen the gloomy and growling sky with lightning and thunder.
The room was so cozy, I love the colour pallete. I got given a room with two huge beds ๐คฉ so comfy! But of course I only needed one. I felt like I have everything that needed although there was no kitchen.
We were provided with food, so grateful but quite big portion that I felt so sorry I am not a big eater.
Maybe because there's no snack why the big portion meal...and I missed fresh fruits so badly and fresh air, too. I'm glad I had with me in my luggages my favorite tea and chocolate. I survived. ๐
You may be wondering what I did with those four days. I did video conferencing with friends, zumba dancing as exercise, watched the news, window shopping online, watched the planes take off, the busy road and the beautiful sky, etc.
Some photos outside my room that I've taken when we were to have a second test before I got released or checked out of the hotel.
Those little tables in front of the doors were for the food. See how life was during the pandemic. People obviously were so scared from those who just travelled. No human being in sight while I took these photos.
Despite the thought of being alone in this cozy place, I must say, I missed those days quite a lot, the calmness, peace and tranquility. And these photos that I had taken just bring back those memories...
This is all for now...Thank you so much for your time and support! ๐ค๐น๐น๐น
