With (Canadian) Thanksgiving having just passed, I wanted to take the time to acknowledge everything that I'm grateful for in my life.
The first thing, and the one of utmost importance, is my relationship with God 🙏✝️ I am forever thankful that I found God when I did. My life was already full before, but ever since accepting God, it has become COMPLETE! He blessed us with a beautiful life, He has answered our prayers, and I have never been happier to devote my life to Him...
I have to give thanks to my family, both old and new.
Our relationships have been far from perfect, but I am SO GRATEFUL to still have both parents in my life, both physically on this earth and their never-ending support. It isn't something that many people are fortunate enough to have. My parents raised their children to the best of their abilities, and I am forever grateful to have two parents who were present in my life.
I have to give a personal shout out to my Mama. She has helped me tremendously during my time of need. A true mother; my pillar of strength. I am so blessed to call her my Mama! 🥹
I am so thankful for my Nana! She raised a big, beautiful family and filled them with God's message. I am extremely grateful for my Nana's spiritual influence, and it is a value I intend to pass on to my own children.
I am thankful for my husband, Terry. Not a day goes by where I don't recognize just how blessed I am to have met him when I did. What an absolute miracle it has been, to watch our love blossom into two beautiful children... Terry is my rock, and he has truly seen me at my worst! 😅 But I am so excited to be creating this life with him, to be embarking on this journey with him.
I am thankful for our children, and that the Lord has blessed me with the ability to be a vessel for these angels. Kiva and Riley have given me an entirely new purpose in my life; being a parent has opened my eyes to the unconditional love that God feels for each of us!
And, so long as God will allow it, we will hopefully be meeting Bean #3 this upcoming April... 💛🌈
Of course, there are all of the other daily blessings that I'm thankful for... I am thankful to live in a beautiful country that allows me to have various freedoms. I am thankful to have access to everything that I need: food, water, a roof over our heads, a warm bed at night... I am thankful to raise our children in a safe environment. I am thankful for all of the opportunities that are available to me! 🙏
