Good morning lovely Diyers ... I'm so glad to share my story with you all on how I made my cultural head bead, I'm a Nigerian, idoma by tribe.
Beading is one of my favorite things and am always delightful sharing my stories here.
I started my beading journey through passion.
When I was six years old, I always loose out my bead from my hair. My mum told me, that has been my attitude since I became two years old.
Whenever I remove the beads from my hair, I will get a rope and begin to fix the bead in it....one after the order.
According to mum, my excitement always popped up each time I find myself with beads...
It continues that way and when I became 12 years old, during vacation, my mum registered me for bead classes...
In my new class, I made new friends and always made my trainer my best friend. I enjoyed my classes and became one of the students my trainer love most, because of my commitment.
I make beads for myself, family, friends & customers.
We had a cultural service In church last Sunday, where all tribes were told prior to sunday to put on their cultural wears including beads.
When I got home on that day, I quickly went to my bead box and brought out the beads and selected out my cultural color 🔴⚫.
Materials Needed
- Red beads
- Black beads
- Fish line
Procedures
- I cut a lengthy fishline
- Then put one big black bead, and one red
- I added another black, then red.
- When I got the length I wanted, I added pearl beads both red & black just as shown in the pictures below, then I tight firmly.
Trust it looks good on me😊
