Hello dear friends, happy start of the week to all! I am pleased to present to you the making of a reversible dress. It is a very nice dress and above all a way to have 2 dresses in one. In this case I have chosen two colors to make this reversible dress! I hope you like it.

Hola queridos amigos, feliz inicio de semana para todos! Tengo el gusto de presentarles la elaboración de un vestido reversible. Es un vestido muy bonito y sobre todo una forma de tener 2 vestidos en uno. En este caso he elegido dos colores para hacer este vestido reversible! Espero que les guste.

Materials - Materiales

• 1 meter of peach fabric

• 1 meter of Berbely fabric

• White thread and fuchsia thread

• Corset patterns

• Scissors

• Sewing machine

• Pins

• 1 metro de tela de durazno

• 1 Metro de tela Berbely

• Hilo blanco e Hilo fucsia

• Patrones de Corset

• Tijera

• Maquina de coser

• Alfileres

Step by Step - Paso a Paso

The first thing I did was to mark the pattern pieces on the fabric, as specifically these patterns are for a long base corset, I folded the pattern area to the waist line of the corset cut and in that way with each of the pieces.

Lo primero que realicé fue marcar las piezas de los patrones sobre la tela, como específicamente estos patrones son para un corsé de base larga, doblé la zona del patrón hasta la línea de la cintura del corte del corsé y de esa forma con cada una de las piezas.

Then we cut out all the pieces from both the white and the fuchsia fabric.

Luego recortamos todas las piezas tanto de la tela blanca como de la tela fucsia.

I also cut out the skirt pieces which are two white pieces and two fuchsia pieces!

Ademas recorté las piezas de la falda que son dos piezas blancas y dos piezas fucsia!

Then we sew the area of the skirt pieces.

Luego cosemos la zona de las piezas de la falda.

Next we must sew the corset area joining the pieces and forming the design.

Seguidamente debemos coser la zona del corsé uniendo las piezas y formando el diseño.

Next we must sew the corset piece to the skirt piece.

Seguidamente debemos coser la pieza del corsé a la pieza de la falda.

Next, we sew the fuchsia pieces following the same step as above, first the corset area and then the skirt area.

Seguidamente cosemos las piezas de color fucsia realizando el mismo paso anterior, primero la zona del corsé y luego la zona de la falda.

Finally we have the parts ready separately!

Finalmente tenemos las piezas listas por separado!

Now we proceed to sew so that we join the right sides of both dresses! and we sew on the inside of the seams leaving only a small hole to place the right side of the piece.

Ahora procedemos a coser de forma que unimos las caras derechas de ambos vestidos! y cosemos del lado interno de las costuras dejando solo un pequeño agujero para colocar del lado derecho la pieza.

So we have two pieces, a fuchsia dress and a white dress.

Asi tenemos dos piezas, un vestido fucsia y un vestido blanco.
