Empezando el mes de Abril fue mi cumpleaños número 48, y aunque al principio estaba un tanto triste, decidí cambiar el switch, tal como les comenté en este post y fue lo mejor que pude haber hecho, pues al final de la noche lo terminé pasando de maravillas junto con mis hijos, quienes son las personas que mas amo en este mundo, y a quienes por suerte tengo a mi lado.
Ese día recibí un solo regalo, un detalle que compró el padre de mis niños para que me lo dieran como si fuera de ellos, y la verdad es que no solo supieron guardar el secreto para que fuera sorpresa, sino que ni siquiera revisaron para enterarse antes que yo.
Parece algo simple, pero este par de medias es el recordatorio de una escena de la película "Yo, antes de ti" en el que un simple detalle le alegró la vida a la protagonista. Desde que vi esa película quería un par como ese, y siendo yo tan osada al vestir, obviamente me las voy a poner, solo estoy buscando las demás piezas para organizar mi outfit y estrenarlas.
Aunque no hice fiesta, igual hubo música y baile, mi hijo mayor se encargó de la música que suelo poner para animarme, y pues la cámara del celular fue mi pareja de baile. De ahí el video...
Pero como siempre, debía tener mi toque de humor, así que luego de un par de canciones, sucedió lo inesperado... los venezolanos lo entenderán a la primera, pero para quienes no lo sepan, en mi país hay una "sutil" manera de decir que la fiesta terminó, incluyendo en el repertorio del DJ una canción que todos reconocemos.

That day I received only one gift, a detail that my children's father bought for them to give it to me as if it were theirs, and the truth is that not only they knew how to keep the secret so that it would be a surprise, but they didn't even check to find out before me.
It seems something simple, but this pair of socks is a reminder of a scene from the movie “Me, before you” in which a simple detail brightened up the life of the protagonist. Ever since I saw that movie I wanted a pair like that, and being me so daring when dressing, obviously I'm going to wear them, I'm just looking for the rest of the pieces to organize my outfit and wear them for the first time.
Although I didn't have a party, there was still music and dancing, my oldest son was in charge of the music that I usually play to cheer me up, and the cell phone camera was my dance partner. Hence the video...
But as always, I had to have my touch of humor, so after a couple of songs, the unexpected happened... Venezuelans will understand it at first, but for those who don't know, in my country there is a “subtle” way of saying that the party is over, including in the DJ's repertoire a song that we all recognize.
