Its been a bit of a "long road", just being home for a minute, long enough to get all the clothes washed at least. We can say that some parts of life are more travel-filled than others. But once again we pack our bags and hit the road in the name of HIVE.
Ever since January, when I contemplated going "full-time on HIVE", I figured there would be some choices to make along the way. A lot of networking occurs on the road, and if you get a few Hivers together, naturally they are going to think, imagine and build some really cool HIVE thoughts.
It wasn't on my roadmap, I had discarded the possibility to travel at this time to @buttcoin's hotel, citing lack of money to make it all happen. Plus, I really like my home, and sometimes it can be hard to work myself up a good reason to leave.
But anyway, this time we tried a new strategy, grabbing the last bus out of Líbano, about 5pm, and arriving shortly after 8pm to Ibagué. From there we would find a bus to Bogotá, which we did, quite quickly.
Once in Ibagué, I hadn't yet finished my first Piel Roja when @ecoinstante came running - our bus is leaving, directly for Salitre Terminal in Bogotá. So we boarded once again, and before I knew it I was asleep and we were driving.
A fellow passenger shook me awake around 11:40pm, we had arrived. Easy as that, the only trick is to fall asleep at just the right times.
From Salitre, after taking a moment, it was just a quick taxi ride to the airport. Which is how we found ourselves in line at Oma at 1am, killing a bit of time before we check our bags and board our flight.
We do have one quick stop in Panama, but basically its breakfast with @buttcoins from here, and we are quite happy and excited about our "new strategy" of busing through the night for an extremely early flight.
I'll probably be making this face quite a bit until we actually arrive at our destination and get settled in, there is a lot to write about, a lot to think about and a lot to work on!
Let's see if getting some great Hivers together in one place is, once again, the answer!
